A Good Hunch Mini Review
What I like about A Good Hunch: Awesome puzzles, great idea, good tutorial, fun game.
What I don’t like A Good Hunch: Could have used better graphics and music.
A Good Hunch Full Review
A Good Hunch is a seriously clever puzzle game which uses time manipulation and physics to get 2 cute little goats to their exits. You first control Harvey, the green boy goat, once you’ve got him to the exit you then gain control of Tina, the girl goat. This is where the puzzle part comes into the game, when your controlling Tina, Harveys actions are played back on screen for you to interact with, in each puzzle the exit Tina needs to reach will be out of reach, its your job to jump on Harveys back which will give you the extra jump needed. So you need to think ahead when controlling Harvey, because he needs to be put in the right place for the right amount of time to help Tina out.
The controls of A Good Hunch are easy, simply use your right and left keys to move back and forth and use the spacebar key to jump. There are 2 arrows at the top of the screen for replaying, a green to reply the whole level and purple to just reply Tina’s moves. At the end of each level your given points relative to the amount of time you spent in the level and you may also pick up a bonus if you complete the level without using any replays.
