Cake shop is a fun and often addictive free flash game that I really think you should try out. It’s main game mechanic is being a time management simulator which it does extremely well. This free tycoon game has you playing the party of a busy cake shop owner. It’s your job to make the cakes your customers want, when the customer is satisfied you are often rewarded with a tip! These tips and cake sales go towards buying new equipment for your shop, these items include a cake stand, a coffee maker and a cotton candy maker.
The addition of new machines means you’ll have customers coming into the shop looking to buy multiple items, multiple sales can make the game a little more tricky but the speed up in gameplay definitely makes it fun. The work day only lasts around a minute at a time and you’ll usually get around 8 to 10 customers per day. At the end of each work day you’ll get a list of how you performed, this list includes money made, tips made, how good your service was and how many customers you served. Cake shop has a great tutorial which explains exactly what you need to do quickly and seamlessly.
The music can get a little tiresome though, you do have the option to turn the volume up or down in the settings. If you run out of time to play cake shop today, the game is stored in your browsers cookies so you can pick up where you left of another time!
