Cake Shop 2 is the sequel to the fun and addictive Cake Shop. Just like Cake Shop you are the owner of a busy little cake shop, its your task to make cakes the way the customers order them and also give them any extras they may order. These extras can range from coffe to cotton candy. You’ll need to work to unlock these extra additions to your menu. As you sell cakes you’ll make money and tips, when you’ve built up enough money you’ll be able to buy more machines. These new machines are what set Cake Shop 2 apart from the original cake shop. The 2 noticable additions are the pop corn machine and the cake cola machine.
The way the game works is all the different cake layers roll around on a conveyer belt, when a customer appears a picture of the cake they’re after appears next to them, you need to assemble the cake as quickly as possible then give it to the customer. If they want a coffee of cola, you take a cup off the belt and put it in the coffee of cola machine, when its done you hand it to the customer and you’ll be paid. Another big improvement cake shop 2 has over the original cake shop is graphics. Cake Shop 2 has a lot more moving parts and animation then the original. Textures are also a lot better this time around as well as the colours and overall art sense.
