What I like about Defend the Planet: Fun gameplay, aliens are awesome, nice graphics.

What I don’t like about Defend the Planet: Needed more weapon types and deeper story.

Save the Earth in Defend the Planet, a new space shooting game where your put in the firing chair of earths last defence against the violent and evil aliens!

Defend the Planet is a rather basic shooter game which pits you against an array of alien space craft. You will use your mouse to aim and shoot your missiles into the moving ships and take them down. You have 3 different cannons which for the most part fire one at a time, if you feel you need more fire power simply click on the X3 button at the bottom of the screen and all 3 cannons will fire at the same time, be carful though because you have a laser bar which goes down the more you shoot, using all 3 lasers at the same time will make this bar run out a lot quicker. You also have a shield you can use against the aliens attacks, this also has a regenerating bar which goes down the more damage you take. You can choose which bar you want to recharge faster by clicking on the bars at the bottom of the screen, green recharges your ammunition quicker and blue recharges your shields.

Defend the planet is a fun and simple game with an interesting story, the graphics are simple but good and the backgrounds change from level to level as well which is great. Play this fun free online space game today, right here, right now!
